The problem
Law firms handling motor vehicle diminished-value claims work with documents that arrive through email, manual uploads, and existing office folders. Sorting those records, re-entering details, and tracking each case can make routine work fragmented.
The product
Dekasis brings the case workflow into one workspace. Documents can be collected, classified, and processed to extract key details. Those details can then be reviewed against their source documents, used to prepare template-based documents, and kept with the case history.
The product is designed to assist legal staff: AI prepares a first pass, while people review and approve important information and legal work.
My role and the technical approach
Dekasis is my venture and product. I am developing the product workflow, web application, and document-processing infrastructure together. The codebase includes a Python/FastAPI backend, a React interface, and document-processing components such as OCR.
